Choosing
Switch engines from the footer or in Settings → Engines.

| Claude Code | Install Claude Code and run claude once to sign in. | The best all-rounder, on your Claude plan. |
| Codex CLI | Install Codex and run codex login. | Using your ChatGPT plan. |
| Anthropic API | Paste a key in Settings. | Pay-as-you-go Claude. |
| OpenAI / Gemini | Paste a key and choose a model. | If you already use them. |
| Ollama | Install Ollama and pull a model; choose it in Settings. | Free and offline. |
API keys are kept in your Mac's Keychain. Orbix never sees your Claude or ChatGPT login — those stay with Claude Code and Codex.
Smart routing
With Smart routing on and an Ollama model chosen, quick lookups (“where did I…”, “open…”, “show me…”) go to the local model and everything else to your main engine. A conversation stays with the engine it started on.
Your own MCP servers
With Claude Code, Also use my Claude Code MCP servers lets Orbix use the tools you've connected to Claude Code (Slack, Notion, GitHub…).
